E-SPARROW
The e-Sparrow is a no-frills single-speed commuter bike optimized for urban riding. It comes with Tektro mechanical disc brakes and 160-millimeter rotors, a KMC rust-proof chain, and wheels built by hand at Detroit Bikes’ factory and shod with WTB ThickSlick 700 x 28c tires. It also has a DDK Super Soft E-Bike saddle for comfort riding, Velo grips, and an aluminum handlebar, stem, and seatpost. Cables and housing are routed internally for a clean aesthetic. The e-Sparrow is based on our incredibly simple, lightweight and easy to use Sparrow platform. Beyond the wonderfully approachable price-point, the throttle feature is what makes these special. Like the Sparrow, the e-Sparrow also includes a pump. These bikes weigh in at an astonishingly light 32-36 lbs. The e-Sparrow is offered in a range of sizes for each model, meant to enhance comfort based on the rider’s height.
